Bertha was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.She engaged in farming with her husband until 1920 when Mr.Heinsohn purchased the store in Frelsburg now known as Edgar Heinsohn store.Mrs.Heinsohn assisted her husband in managing the store.After Mr.Heinsohn's death in 1960,their son,Edgar Heinsohn,took over management.
Funeral services were held for Bertha Heinsohn,92,on January 1,1972 at 2:00 p.m. Untermeyer-Henneke Funeral Chapel in Columbus with continued services at Trinity Lutheran Church in Frelsburg,Rev.Harold Fehler officiated.
Pallbearers were Delmar Fehrenkamp,William Fehrenkamp,W.R. Mathias,Ervin Meyer,Dr.Charles Moeller,and Albert E. Noska.
