He was born at New Haven, January 12, 1940, son of Gilbert Rohlfing and wife Mildred, nee Baumgaertner.
Mr. Rohlfing was a dairy and grain farmer. He owned Rohlfing R/R International for four years in Owensville. He was a member of Century Farmer and the American Dairy Association.
He was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church at Senate Grove.
Mr. Rohlfing was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Gilbert and Richard. He is survived by his wife, Judy Rohlfing, nee Knehans, New Haven; one daughter Sheri Hasan and husband Iyhab, Waukee, IA; three sons, Rick Rohlfing and wife Tricia, Robin Rohlfing and wife Amy, all of Washington and Chad Rohlfing, New Haven; five grandsons, Zachary Hasan, Joshua Rohlfing, Kyle Rohlfing, Cody McWay and Andrew Rohlfing; a sister-in-law; a brother-in-law; nieces; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held Thursday, August 29, at Immanuel United Methodist Church, Senate Grove. Interment was in the church cemetery.
Memorials to the American Heart Association or Immanuel United Methodist Cemetery are preferred.
