Funeral services were to be held in the Palmetto, La., Methodist Church this afternoon for Mrs. Ella Carrier, mother of Mrs. Cliff Wyble of Port Arthur and Mrs. George Ayers of Groves. Mrs. Carrier, who had been ill for three months, died at her home in Palmetto Friday morning.
The Rev. Clyde Shaw was to officiate with internment in the adjacent cemetery.
Other survivors are two sons, J. M. Carrier of Cotton Valley and M. C. Carrier of Shreveport; three daughters, Mrs. Albertha Foreman of Palmetto, Mrs. Cr. R. Green of Baton Rouge, and Mrs. Irene Soileau of Palmetto; and three sisters, Mrs. A. Mouille of Palmetto, Mrs. Mae Savant of Melville, and Mrs. T. T. Mitchell of Bunkie.
