Lydia Lofing, 76, longtime Ravenna resident, died Tuesday in a home in Kearney. Funeral services were set for Friday afternoon in Fairmont. Burial will be in Fairmont.

She was born January 26, 1894, at Fairmont to John and Emma Dick Lofing. She grew up and attended school in Fairmont and lived there until 1923. She moved to Sutton at that time and lived there until 1946, when she went to Ravenna to make her home with her sister, Mrs. Emma Moffett, where she resided until 1961.

Miss Lofing was a former member of the Fairmont Methodist church.

She is survived by one brother, Samuel of Phoenix, Ariz. and two sisters, Mrs. Lena Wey of Omaha and Mrs. Emma Moffett of Ravenna.

She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters and two brothers.
