Kirk I. Brasher, age 90, passed away March 16, 2005. He was born on October 31, 1914 in Huntington, Utah to Reuben and Ivy Hill Brasher.

He married Annis Carlson on December 23, 1941 in Manti, Utah. She passed away on March 7, 1991.

He married Kathryn Brockbank Elcock on April 12, 1997 in Centerville, Utah.

He served in the United States Army during World War II. He taught Math in Emery County and the Granite School District for 25 years.

He was a devoted family man, a farmer and rancher. He spent his early years farming and ranching in Emery County. He was riding horses until he was 88-years-old. He enjoyed listening to Jazz.

He is survived by his wife Kathryn; daughters Karen Tanner, Jill Spencer (Stephen); son-in-law Hank Williams; 13 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by a daughter Jo Ellen Williams.

Services will be held Saturday, March 19, 2005 at the Larkin Mortuary Chapel, 260 E. South Temple, at 2:00 p.m. A viewing will be held prior to the services from 12:30-1:45 p.m. Interment will be at the Mountain View Memorial Estates Cemetery.
