A native of Sweden, she came to Rockford at the age of four and attended schools here. She and her late husband, Albert Carlson, were early homesteaders at Airdrie, Alberta, and she resided at Airdrie until a few years ago.
Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Mae Hansen and Mrs. Dorothy Bruntjen, both of Calgary, Mrs. Ruth Wray, Irracana, Alta., Mrs. Ruby Matheson, Quebec; a son, Bert, Airdrie; a sister, Mrs. Esther Ryden, Rockford; and a number of other relatives in Rockford.
Services will be Wednesday morning in Airdrie, with burial there.
