He was born on December 10, 1921 to Fred and Natalie Deines Blehm on the farm in rural Fort Collins, Colorado. He married Darline M. Zoller in Fort Collins, on August 16, 1952. She survives.
He is also survived by his son, David; daughter, Maxine; grand-daughters, Celeste and Ciera; sisters, Dorothy Weitzel of Fort Collins and Ruby (Roy) Roth of Windsor, brother in law, Clarence Pfenning of Loveland and sister in law, Alvina Blehm of Loveland.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
