Aaron was born March 13, 1921 in Clay Co., KY., to Walton and Nancy (St. John) Pennington, both deceased. He married Wilma Reed on May 23, 1942 and she survives.
Rev. Pennington was a retired minister of the Assemblies of God, serving in Rushville from 1958-1995.
In addition to his wife, Rev. Pennington leaves his son, Gary Pennington(and wife, Kay) of Cincinnati, Ohio, two daughters, Mrs. Bill (Kay) Beadle of Rushville, IN and Mrs Thom (Penny) Frazer of Jeffersonville, IN, one brother, Dale Pennington of El Paso, three sisters, Mrs. Charles (Virgie) Collins and Irene Davis of Texas and Rev. Donald (LaVerne) Whitlow of Indianapolis, IN, 8 grandchildren and twenty-nine great grandchildren also survive.
In addition to his parents, Aaron was preceded in death by one son, Terry in 2004, one daughter, Wilma Jean Pennington in 1947, five sisters and two brothers.
