Eva Beatrice Lloyd Pedersen, age 87, died Sunday, August 26, 1990, peacefully in her sleep after a long illness at the home of her daughter, Barbara Orton.
She was born September 7, 1902, in Salt Lake City, to Samuel William Lloyd and Eva Obray. She was the second of ten children. She grew up in Salt Lake City where she met and married Edward F. Pedersen on December 23, 1920. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. A friend to all who knew her, she had a unique capacity to enjoy life and was constantly serving others, especially her family. She was preceded in death by her husband and an infant daughter.
She is survived by her six children, Edward F. Pedersen, Jr. and wife, Louise, Twin Falls, Idaho; Lola Ransom and husband, Kelley, Pocatello, Idaho; Barbara Orton and husband, Ralph, Midvale, Utah; Ronald Pedersen and wife, Fon, Idaho Falls, Idaho; Janet Crouch and husband, Glen, Chubbuck, Idaho; Gary Lloyd Pedersen and wife, Alene, Bountiful, Utah; 36 grandchildren; 93 great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister, Lois Zackrison of Victorville, California.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 29, 1990, at 11:00 a.m., Bountiful 25th Ward, 1500 South 600 East, Bountiful, Utah. Friends may call Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at Russon Brothers-Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main Street, Bountiful, Utah, and Wednesday at the Church 9:45 to 10:45. Interment: Bountiful City Cemetery.
