Morris T. Danner, 86, a resident of the Broen Home died Wednesday, Oct. 30, 1991, at the home. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Zion Lutheran Church, with the Revs. James Armstrong and Art Wickstrom officiating. Burial will be in the First Lutheran Cemetery in Battle Lake.
He was born June 6, 1905, in Battle Lake, the son of Theodore and Mary (Lindrud) Danner. He was baptized and confirmed at the Rindal Lutheran Church. He grew up near Battle Lake where he attended school.
On March 25, 1936, he married Lillian Ekeberg at First Lutheran Church of Battle Lake. The couple farmed in the area until retiring in 1981, when they moved to Fergus Falls.
Mrs. Danner died May 2, 1988. Mr. Danner moved into the Broen Home in 1988.
He was a former member of First Lutheran Church of Battle Lake and a present member of Zion Lutheran Church in Fergus Falls.
He is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Olson Funeral Home in Fergus Falls and will continue one hour prior to services at the church.
