Orrin A. Danner, 77,215 E. Franklin, died Monday, Dec. 17, at his residence. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 19, at Zion Lutheran Church, Fergus Falls. Revs. James Armstrong and Waldemar Anderson will officiate. Burial will be in Battle Lake Cemetery, Battle Lake.
One of three children of Theo and Mary (Lindrud) Danner, he was born Oct. 18, 1907, at Battle Lake, where he also grew up and was confirmed in the Lutheran Church.
On Nov. 7, 1931, he and Helen Anderson were married.
He worked at Battle Lake Creamery until 1953, when they moved to Fergus Falls and he was employed by Fergus Dairy. He retired after working a total of 13 years in the dairy business.
He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and had served in several of its offices.
Survivors include his wife Helen; one daughter, Mrs. James (Bonnie) McClain of Anaheim, Calif.; two sons, Jerald of Detroit Lakes and James of Fergus Falls; seven grandchildren and five greatgrandchildren; and one brother, Morris of Fergus Falls.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Olson Funeral Home in Fergus Falls and resume at the church one hour prior to services Wednesday.
