Father of J. L. Moore Passes Away at Bastrop
J. L. Moore of the Stieren section returned Monday from Bastrop, where he was called to attend the funeral of his father, T. R. Moore, who passed away there January 28 at the age of 81 years, 2 months and 17 days. He was one of the pioneer citizens of Bastrop. He leaves his wife, two sons and three daughters.
Mr. Moore was a Confederate veteran and a member of the famous Terry's Texas Rangers.
