Charley Sommerfeld, 91, former Nebco employee, died July 12 at Schowalter Villa in Hesston.
Burial, which preceded the service, was at Spring Valley Mennonite Cemetery, southeast of Canton.
He was born Jan. 5, 1915, to John and Ora (Young) Sommerfeld near Canton, Kansas. On Dec. 15, 1940, he was marred to Stella Bitikofer, who survives in Hesston.
Survivors also include two sons, a daughter, five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
