The funeral of Mrs. Maria Wusk was held in the Lutheran Church here last Friday afternoon. Mrs. Wusk, one of the pioneers of this country, died at the home of her son, Adolph Wusk and on the farm, which she and her husband, who died about ten years ago, had lived on for many years. She had arrived at the age of 80 years and three months, the cause of her death being cancer. Rev. Beckman of this point conducted the funeral obsequies, the remains being interred in the cemetery north of town.
Mrs. H. Panko, who with her husband is now located at Boulder, Colo., and now on account of the illness and death of her mother, Mrs. Marie Wusk had returned here, left for Boulder, Colo. Monday afternoon.
