Services for Mrs. Reinhard Held Monday

Funeral services for Mrs. Alma Fields Reinhard of Tchula were held Monday, November 13 at 2:00 p.m. from the Tchula Presbyterian Church with Rev. Joey Pipa, pastor, and Rev. Howard Allen officiating. Interment was in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Lexington.

Mrs. Reinhard died Saturday at the Holmes County Community Hospital.

Born at Coila in Carroll County on October 29, 1892, she had recently celebrated her 90th birthday while in the hospital. She was the daughter of the late Fleet Fields and Alice Nabors. She was preceded in death by her husband Victor Reinhard.

Mrs. Reinhard was the oldest member of the Tchula Presbyterian Church and a member of the Tchula Garden Club.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Eugene J. Sheppard of Tchula and Mrs. Curtis N. Jones of Laurel; one sister, Mrs. E.E. Carpenter of Memphis, Tennessee; three grandchildren, Mrs. Jack Catron, Newton Jones, and Victor Jones all of Laurel; two nephews, Claude Hutchinson of Greenwood and Fred Grice of Seattle Washington; a niece, Mrs. J.E. Saddler; and nine great-grandchildren.

Active pallbearers were Bob Thompson, Bernard Jones, Bobo Foose, Ellis Harris, Charlie Wade, Lester Lyon, Paul Wilson, and Eugene Herrman.

Honorary pallbearers were Gilliam Gwin, Marvin Smith, O.W. Nixon, Dr. P.B. Brumby, Dr. Charles Campbell, Boyd Sheppard and Jim Hutton.
