Emil Benisch of Hampden passed away at his home February 1, 1927 at the age of 51 years, 2 months and 14 days. He was born in Marshall, November 17, 1875 and was united in marrage to Miss Anna Reithmeier on September 22, 1902. He was a well known and kind resident of Hampden and loved by all who knew him. Surviving are his wife; three children, Elmer, Oliver, and Leo; three sisters, Mary Benisch at home, Mrs. Kasper Weisensel, Sun Prairie, and Mrs. Vincent Suchomel, Sun Prairie; three brothers, Adolph, at home, Rudolph, East Bristol, and Frank Benisch, Bristol. Funeral services were held at St. Joseph's Church, Thursday morning, February 3, 1927 at 10:00, Rev. Wm. Gensler officiating. Six nephews acted as pallbearers.
