Steven Michael Maack, 50, of Elizabeth, died Monday, July 14, 2008, at his home.

Steven was born on Dec. 17, 1957, in Fergus Falls, the son of Elroy and Mary Lou (Griepentrog) Maack. He was raised in Elizabeth and was baptized and confirmed at St. John Lutheran Church.

He attended School District 1399 until eighth grade and then continued in Fergus Falls, graduating from Fergus Falls High School in 1975.

He then attended Wahpeton State School of Science.

He was employed at Nelson Brothers Printing from 1977 to 1987. In 1990, he began his current job, working for the Minnesota Department of Transportation as a civil engineer.

Steven enjoyed fishing, hunting, bowling and fast pitch softball.

Visitation: One hour prior to the service at the funeral home

Service: 1 p.m. Friday, at Olson Funeral Home Chapel, Fergus Falls
