Anna Reichert Sebald
"A lifelong New Yorker temporarily living in Erie" Anna Reichert Sebald, age 86, of Erie, died Thursday, July 15, 2010. She was born in Queens, N.Y. on January 22, 1924 a daughter of the late Otto and Anna Bauerschmidt Reichert.
Anna lived in Erie since 1946 and became a member of Sacred Heart Church. She enjoyed gardening, traveling, dancing, crossword puzzles and especially, caring for her family.
She is preceded in death by her husband Michael Sebald in 2001, six sisters, Rose, Lillian, Marie, Joan, Margaret and Dorothy and three brothers, Harry, Otto and Frederick.
She is survived by three daughters, Mary Ann Hilbert and her husband Gary of Marlborough, Conn. and Patricia Munz and her husband Tom Schlaudecker and Margaret Proper and her husband Claude all of Erie, two sons, Michael Sebald and his wife Raija of Erie and Joseph Sebald and his wife Amy of Fairview. Eight grandchildren, Amy and Melissa Hilbert of Mass., Anne Munz of Erie, Michael, Stephany and Janelle Sebald of Erie and Andrew and Sarah Sebald of Fairview, three great-grandchildren, Brendan and Alexis Roach and Tess O'Toole. Several Nieces and nephews also survive.
Friends may call on Monday at the Francis V. Kloecker Funeral Home, Erie, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and are invited to a service there on Tuesday morning at 9 a.m. followed by the Funeral Mass at Sacred Heart Church at 9:30.
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
