The Plymouth Reporter has the following mention of Mrs. M. Fricke, a sister of Theo. Orphal of this village:
Mrs. Madgaline Fricke passed away Tuesday at her home in Elkhart Lake as a result of the infirmities of old age. Born Aug. 22, 1840 in Germany, came to this country in 1850 to Sheboygan County in 1857, where she was married in 1859.
She is survived by six children, Mrs. Anna Ehrlich, Sheboygan Falls, Miss Lottie, Otto and Herman of Elkhart Lake, Henry of Sheboygan Falls and Louis of Racine; 12 grandchildren, and two brothers, Theodore Orphal, Hilbert and Louis, Vesper.
