Otto Fricke, 82, long-time resident of Elkhart Lake, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Eugene Breuer of Slinger, Wis., on Wednesday. He had been ill for the past five months.
Born Oct. 6, 1865, in the town of Sheboygan Falls, he was married to Hannah Puhl on March 5, 1896, and they resided in Sheboygan Falls for two years before moving to the farm in the town of Rhine just south of Elkhart Lake. In 1922 they sold the farm and moved to the village to make their home.
Survivors are two sons, Albert and William of Elkhart Lake; and two daughters, Mrs. Fred (Helen) Brown of New Holstein and Mrs. Eugene (Meta) Breuer of Slinger; one brother, Louis of Milwaukee. His wife died Nov. 10, 1940, and a daughter, Lucy, two grandchildren, two sisters and three brothers preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be at the Raeder Funeral home in Elkhart Lake with the Rev. Herman Schmid of Plymouth officiating. Burial will be made in the Elkhart Lake Cemetery.
