Mrs. Jacob (Angela) Meier, 83, of 1116 N. Washington, New Ulm, died Sunday at Highland Manor.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Cathedral of the Holy Trinity with burial in Soldiers' Rest, City Cemetery. Visitation is 3-9 p.m today at Minnesota Valley Funeral Home with parish rosary at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
Christian Mothers Society will pray at 4 p.m. today at the church.
She is survived by her husband, Jacob, one daughter, Mrs. Jerome (Charlotte) Schweiss, New Ulm; two grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
She was born January 7, 1894, in Comfrey to Mr. and Mrs. Peter Schmitt. She married Jake Meier Nov. 9, 1921 in Comfrey. After marriage, they lived in Comfrey 10 years and moved to New Ulm where she worked at Ward's Dept. Store 8 years. She had been in failing health for the past 2 years and a resident of Highland Manor for the past 6 months.
