Miss Katie Elaine Whitsel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. E. Whitsel of 1608 Fifth avenue, became the bride of Corporal R. F. Cooper of Battery B, One Hundred and Thirty-first Field Artillery, Saturday evening. The wedding ceremony was solemnized by Rev. C. L. Altfather at the home of the bride's parents. Only relatives and immediate friends of the family were present.
The bride and groom entered together to the strains of Mendelssohn's wedding march played by Miss Adelaide Brown. The marriage vows were made beneath a draped American flag. Other home decorations were arrangements of palms and ferns and cut flowers.
Corporal and Mrs. Cooper are at home at 1608 Fifth avenue.
