She was born and educated in Italy and was employed for many years as a finisher with the former Manchester Modes Company.
She was the wife of the late Antonio DiGennaro and mother of the late Nella DiGennaro. She is survived by four loving children, Lucy Carucci and Enza D'Alatri and her husband Guiseppe both of Vernon, Sam DiGennaro and his wife Josephine of Tucson, AZ, and Gino DiGennaro of Simsbury; ten grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held on Thursday, August 5, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Ladd-Turkington & Carmon Funeral Home, 551 Talcottville Road (Route 83), Vernon.
Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Vernon.
Calling hours at the Funeral Home will be held on Wednesday evening from 5:00-7:00 p.m.
