Here is a copy of her obit from the Rushville Recorder 21 Jul 1916 pg 1 col 5:

Mrs. John Laue
Fredericke Riecke was born in Siettendorf, Saxnoy, Germany, Oct. 4, 1845 and died near Rushville Jan. 15 1916. On Aug. 2 1867, she was married to John Laue, and to this union was born 7 sons and 2 daughters. On May 21 1886 she came to America and settled in Sheridan Co., where she has lived up to the time of her death. She leaves a husband, 9 children 27 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren besides two sisters and one brother to mourn her loss.
The funeral was held from St Paul's Lutheran Church Tuesday afternoon at 1 p.m., Rev Vahle preaching con o ing words in German and English to a large congregation of sorrowing relatives and friends. The remains were interred in Fairview cemetery, to await the time when the dead in Christ arise.

We desire to express out heartfelt thanks to those kind friends and neighbors who administered to our needs in the sickness and death of our beloved wife and mother. Also those who showed their sympathy by sending flowers. John Laue, Robert and Paul Laue and Family.
