Thursday night occurred the death of Mrs. Anna Mary Bippus, mother of George J. and Matthias Bippus, of this county, mention of whose illness we made a few days ago. The cause of death is ascribed to old age.
The deceased was born in Germany, and was aged 77 years and 4 months. The funeral was held Sunday, at the Lutheran Church on the Wabash county line, leaving the house at ten a.m. Had the lady lived until Saturday, it would have been the fifty-second anniversary of her marriage to the now bereaved husband.
The family and friends who are left to mourn their loss will have the heartfelt sympathy of all in their bereavement.
