Mary Phelps Evans was the daughter of David Evans and Elizabeth Jane Williams . She married Robert Farish on July 3, 1887 in Scofield, Utah. They were the parents of Robert David, Fannie, Hazel, Margaret Jane, Manilla Dewey and William Edward Farish. Robert was killed in the Scofield mine disaster (Winter Quarters) on May 1, 1900. Mary married George Fletcher on Jan. 17, 1903, in Sunnyside, Utah; he died in 1943. Mary later married Joseph Marshall.
