Robert D. Farish

Holy Rosary was recited Tuesday in the Mitchell Funeral Chapel and Requiem Mass was celebrated Wednesday at 10 a.m. in St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Helper, for Robert D. Farish, 80, who died in a Salt Lake City hospital March 22 (sic) of injuries suffered in an auto accident March 22 near Helper.

He was born May 8, 1889, at Winter Quarters, to Robert and Mary Evans Farish. He married Bertha May Ashbaugh Dec. 8, 1924, in Price. He was a retired coal miner, member of the Catholic Church, UMWA Local 6210, Spring Canyon.

Surviving are his widow; sons, daughters, Martin, Mrs. Dan (Pat) Paiz, Helper; James G., Woodbridge, Va.; Richard, Fountain Valley, Calif.; George Bueno Park, Calif.; Robert, Springfield, Ore.; Mrs. Albert (Bertha May) Blackburn, La Mirada, Calif.; Mrs. Fred (Judy) Halverson, Price; 33 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brothers, sisters, William, Mrs. Margaret Allred, Mrs. William (Hazel) Baird, Mrs. Ted (Manilla) Russell, all Salt Lake City; Mrs. Robert (Fanny) Baird, Carbonville; half-brother, half-sister, George A. Fletcher, Tracy, Calif.; Mrs. Frank (Alma) Kraync, Helper.

Burial was in the Mt. View Cemetery, Helper.
