HEREFORD - Maria "Lela" De Los Santos, 83, died Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2010, in Hereford.
Rosary will be said at 5:30 p.m. and a prayer service at 6 p.m. today in Hereford Heritage Funeral Home Chapel of Memories. Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Friday in St. Anthony's Catholic Church with the Rev. Nic Gerber as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery.
Ms. De Los Santos was born Jan. 10, 1927, in Uvalde to Seferino and Ignacia De La Paz De Los Santos. She moved to Hereford in 1947 from Uvalde.
Survivors include a brother, Seferino De Los Santos of Roswell, N.M.; and four sisters, Delfina Pesina, Guadalupe Flores, Esperanza Martinez and Olga De Los Santos, all of Hereford.
