Dale Johnson, born in Hewitt, Minnesota on May 14, 1939, died in Grass Valley, CA on March 13, 2005.

He was an Air Force Tech Sgt. for 20 years. He married Donna Lee Raap in 1963 in Minnesota. He was a retired equipment specialist who loved his family and socializing.

Survivors include his wife, Donna Lee Johnson; son Daniel Johnson; daughter-in-law Kara Johnson; grandsons Brandan and Garrat Johnson; daughter Daneen Johnson; mother Lila Johnson and sister Evelyn Schmidt.

Dale was the last of a dying breed. He never met a stranger, was always available to lend a helping hand and love followed him throughout his life. Dale will always be remembered as a gentle man who loved to laugh and was willing to tackle any obstacle.

Memorial service to be held on March 18, 2005 at 1:30 PM at the Peace Lutheran Church in Grass Valley. Memorial contributions to Mission Endowment Fund, c/o Peace Lutheran Church, 828 W. Main St., Grass Valley, CA 95945. Arrangements in care of Chapel of the Angels Mortuary, (530) 273-2446.
