He was born Dec. 30, 1893, in the Town of Edson where he farmed for several years. Since 1949 he has lived in the Lake Wissota area.
Mr. Wellner is survived by a brother, Edward, Gordon; a sister, Mrs. John Swatzina, Stanley; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Leiser Funeral Home, Cadott, with the Rev. Eugene Smith of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Edson, officiating. Burial will be in the Bateman Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 p.m. Sunday with Rosary at 8 p.m. The casket will remain closed.
