James Gonce, 76, a farmer of the Highlandville community for the past 37 years, died at his farm home Sunday at 3:45 p.m. He is survived by his wife, Ida Gonce, one son, Leonard, and one daughter, Mrs. Wealtha Maples, both of Highlandville, four brothers and one sister. Funeral services were held at 2 o’clock Tuesday in the Pleasant Grove Baptist church conducted by Rev. Worth Caughron of Ozark. Burial was in the Highlandville cemetery under the direction of the Maples Funeral Home of Nixa.
