Suggested edit: Funeral services for John Weigand, 73, who died Wednesday afternoon in Daly hospital, will be conducted at 10:30 a. m. Saturday in Whitesitt Chapell. The Rev. Clarence T. Johnson wil1 officiate. Burial will be in Three-Mile Cemetery. Mr. Weigand was born April 28. 1890, in Russia and was married there to Sophia Snyder in 1909. The couple moved to the United States in 1913, settling in Washington. They moved to the Bitter Root Valley 35 years ago and ranched in the Stevensville area. Mrs. Weigand died in 1958. Surviving are six daughters, Mrs. Alex Straub, Spokane; Mrs. Joy Wood, Las Vegas; Mrs. Andrew Jackson, Mullan, Idaho; Mrs. Edward Johnson, Alberton; Mrs. William Beach, St. Paul Minn.; Mrs. Robert Guier, Billings; four sons, Sam, John and Otto, Stevensville; Jacob. Thompson Falls; two brothers and two Sisters in Russia; 26 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
