VERDUNVILLE, W.Va. — Arizona Crum Dingess, 87, of Verdunville, went home to her Heavenly Father Friday, September 24, 2010, at CAMC General Division in Charleston.

Born September 14, 1923, at Varney, she was a daughter of the late James Nicholas and Sarah Christian Varney. Also preceding her in death were five daughters, Elizabeth Ann Nelson, Alma Gail Nelson, Dolly Nelson, Mary Sias and Rhoda Ratliff; four sons, Paul, Amos, Dennis and Walter Crum; seven brothers and two sisters.

Arizona was a homemaker and of the Church of God faith.

Survivors include two sons, Nicky Seigher of Sarah Ann and Randall Crum of Varney; five daughters, Emma Jean Blake of Ray City, Ga., Jamie Crum of Varney, Bonnie Vance of Sarah Ann, Polly Gillman of Whitman and Faye Rainey of Ashtabula, Ohio; 33 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, September 27, at the Collins Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Gary Starr officiating. Burial will be at Varney Cemetery at Varney.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons and honorary pallbearers will be Tracy and Michael.

Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Collins Funeral Home of Switzer is in charge of the arrangements.
