Jacob Royce Kirby
Jacob Royce Kirby, 5, died Saturday, March 25, 2000, in an automobile accident in Martinsville. He resident Indianapolis.
He was born Aug. 15, 1994, in Beech Grove. His father and stepmother are Victor L. and Becky Kirby of Indianapolis.
His mother is Judy (Walker) Kirby of Indianapolis. Survivors include two brothers, Joshua L. and Justin R. Kirby, both of Indianapolis; three half brothers, Michael Kirby, Nicholas Kirby and Joseph Walker, all of Indianapolis; a sister, Victoria Kirby of Indianapolis; one half sister, Janey Kirby of Indianapolis; one stepsister, Terra Moorehouse of Indianapolis; grandparents, Royce Fred and Helen Walker and Fred and Linda White, all of Indianapolis, Margie and Charles Kirby of Broadhead, Ky., and Debbie Kirby of Daytona, Fla.; paternal great-grandmother, Beatrice Kirby of Mount Vernon, Ky.; and several aunts and uncles.
He loved Chuck E. Cheese, fishing, Nintendo and playing outdoors.
The Revs. Shan Rutherford and Perry Anderson will conduct a
service at 1 p.m. Thursday at Greenwood Christian Church, 512 S. Madison Ave. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory, Greenwood Chapel. Burial will be at Forest Lawn
Memory Gardens in White River Township.

∼Jacob, age 5, Joney, age 9, and Jordan Kirby, age 12, were killed when their mother Judy Kirby drove the wrong way in the southbound lanes of Ind. 67 near Martinsville, IN. Jeremy Young, age 10, Judy's nephew was also killed in the crash. Thomas Reel, and his two children Jessica, age 14 and Bradley, age 12, were killed when Mrs. Kirby's car hit their van head on.
