She was born April 4, 1927, in Port Huron. On Jan. 23, 1954, she married James Patrick Stockwell in Port Huron. She preceded her in death in 1984.
Sarah was a member of Life of Faith Fellowship Church, Port Huron. she was an active supporter of many Christian outreach programs. She was employed at Faith Medical Care Center, East China Township, for 15 years.
She is survived by her children, Jill M. Hahn of St. Clair, Sue Stockwell of Marysville, Jamie A. (Edward L. Sr.) Suisse of Hubbard Lake and James P. Fr. of Marine City; a grandson, Harold P. Hahn of East Ridge, Tenn.; a brother, Christian Weiss of Port Huron; sisters, Helen Connors of Bad Axe, Marie Longson of Lansing and Jayne Reeves of Port Huron; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Sophia Roth, brothers, Rudy Weiss and Pete Weiss. Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Young Colonial Chapel funeral Home, St. Clair. the Rev. Tom Seppo. pastor of Life of Faith Fellowship church, will officiate. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, St. Clair.
Visiting hours are 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 P.M. today.
