I know what the headstone reads, but the correct spelling is Kindsvater. That's how David spelled it.

David Kindsvater's parents were Jacob and Catherina (Boehm) Kindsvater.

David married Mary Elisabeth Spreier on November 1861.
Her parents were Jacob and Anna Katherina (Kintsfater -??) Spreier.
Their marriage was probably an arranged marriage as were most at that time.
David and Mary had been Lutheran's but changed to Seventh Day Adventist.

Their first child Philip died when he was young. They had the following children listed in their birth order. William Frederick, David Jr., Jacob, Henry, Elisabeth and George.

It is believed the first six children were born in the Saratov Region of Russia, probably Dietel and that George was born Armavir, Russia.
