Lucille M. Bode passed away Thursday September 19, 2013 at the age of 97. She was born January 1, 1916 in Cherokee, Texas to Boyd Hanna and Mabel Christian Hanna. She Married Theodore J. (Ted) Bode December 28, 1935 in Brady, Texas, and was a lifetime resident of San Saba County. Lucille is survived by sons Ken Bode and Judy Hanks of Voca, Texas, Tooter Bode and wife Pat of San Antonio. Daughters Lugenia Capps of Pontotoc, Texas, Vicki Barker and husband Kim of Cherokee, Texas. Ten grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Theodore (Ted) Bode, parents, daughter Sara Kuykendall, son Richard Bode, and two brothers Clayton and Bob Hanna. Pallbearers will be Ken Bode, Tooter Bode, Richard Bode, Rusty Capps, Bode Barker and Clay Bode. Honorary Pallbearers will be T. J. Webster, Marty Gray, Harold Barber and Zane Bode. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Friday, September 20, 2013 at Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne- Funeral Home in Llano, Texas. Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, September 21, 2013 at the Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne Funeral Chapel with Rev. Thomas Bowden officiating. Burial will follow at the Pontotoc Cemetery.
