Frank F. Suther, son of Wiehelmine and Herman Suther, was born September 6, 1903 at Dinklage in the Oldenberg, Germany and passed away after a lingering illness at a
Topeka hospital on August 18, 1965, at the age of 61 years, 11 months and 12 days.

He came to the United States on December 5, 1924 becoming a naturalized citizen on October 16, 1935.

Mr. Suther was a devote member of the Annunciation Catholic Church at Frankfort and belonged to the Knights of Columbus
of that parish.

He was a very prominent farmer and stockman in the ommunity.

On May 10, 1927 he was married to Wilma Stoever at Annunciation Catholic Church. Seven children were born to this union.

Survivors include his devoted and loving wife, Wilma; five daughters and two sons, Mrs. Victor (Rachel) Huninghake, Frankfort, Kansas, Mrs. Lawrence (Helen) Fisher, Vermillion, Kansas, Mrs. Donald (Mary Ann)Sperfslage, Oneida, Kansas, Mrs. Daniel (Margaret) Denneler, Colby, Kansas, Wilma Suther, Topeka, Kansas, Lawrence Suther of
the home and James Suther, Father William Suther N.O.S.B., St Benedict’s Abbey, Atchison, Kansas. Also four sons-in-law and four brother, Henry Suther, Wetmore, Kansas, August Suther, Frankfort, Kansas, Fred Suther, Blaine, Kansas, Herman Suther, Seneca, Kansas, and one sister, Marie Suther
Bahlen, Germany; 26 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers.

Funeral services were held at 9:30 a.m. Friday August 20, 1965 at the Annunciation Catholic Church. Burial was in the Mount Calvary Cemetery, Frankfort, Kansas.
