DEATH AT LILLYVILLE

Bernard Henry Hemmen passed away Friday morning about 4:30 at his home at Lillyville. Funeral services were held at the Sacred Heart Church of Lillyville, Monday morning at 9 o'clock, followed by interment in the parish Cemetery. Rev Wm. A. Pachlhofer, pastor of the congregation officiating.

Mr. Hemmen was born in Germany, November 9, 1842, and came to this country when a young man. He was married to Caroline Apke, August 25, 1890, who preceded him in death 7 years ago, January 13, 1917. This union 6 children were born, all of who are living as follows: Mrs. Ben (Anna) Haskenherm of near Montrose, Ben of Connersville, Ind., Frank, Henry, Margaret and Clara at Home.

Mr. Hemmen was one of the most prominent farmers at Lillyville and besides his relatives leaves to mourn a host of friends.
