Mrs. Anna (Guthbrod) Ott - Anna Gutbrod was born at Kirchen-tellinsfurth, Wuertemberg, Germany, Mar 4, 1847. When at the age of 9 years old, she came with her parents, and her brother and sisters. They made their home near Ottawa. In Jan. 1873, she married Conrad Ott and became the parents of 8 sons and 1 daughter. John, George, Jacob, William, Charles, Albert and Henry and Caroline. They raised their family in La Salle; Mr. Ott died Jan. 20, 1918. Since his death, Mrs. Ott made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Henry Semon, near Tonica. She died on Tuesday evening, Sept 29, 1925. Those who preceded her in death, her parents, 1 sister, Mrs. Lena Zeeb of Papillion, Neb; her husband and two sons; George and William. She also leaves 9 grandchildren; 1 brother, Jacob Gutbrod of Barneston, Neb; and 1 sister; Mrs. Mary Cloidt of Hampton, Ill. The funeral was read at St. Paul's Lutheran church in Vermillion Twp. near Leonore, Ill. La Salle Co. Ill.
