Her first marriage was to Paul Behnke in 1849 at West Prussia. Paul and Maria's daughter, Catherine (Behnke) Schmidt was my Great Grandmother who also lived in Gilmanton, Minnesota and died at St Cloud, Minnesota.
Maria's second marriage was to Josef Warmke.
Josef, Maria and children immigrated to the US in 1881 from Germany with Martin Schmidt who was Catherine Behnke's husband. Catherine and the 5 surviving children born at Gross Zirkwitz, West Prussia immigrated in 1883. That included my Grandmother, Michalina (Lena) Thekla (Schmidt) McMillan.
