Mrs. Morris of Cameron Taken By Death
Mrs. Janie Black Morris, 76 of Route 2 Cameron died early this morning at Pineridge Nursing Home.
A native of Moore county, she was the daughter of the late Duncan Neil Black and Sarah Hart Black. She was the widow of Joe Morris.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at Miller Funeral Chapel by the Reverend W. I Calcote. Burial will be in the Wayside Presbyterian church cemetery.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. George Collins of Sanford and Mrs. Rudolph Thomas of Reidsville; six sons, James W. Morris of Rt. 6 Sanford, W. Leland Morris of Niagar, Neil V. Morris of Reidsville, Jesse L. Morris of Niagara, J.D. Morris of Route 2 Cameron, Carl C. Morris of Viet Nam, 31 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at Miller Funeral home from 7 to 9 tonight.
