Mrs. John Dierks, 232 Second avenue, South, died at 10:10 p.m. Jan. 27 after a brief illness. Funeral services will be held Saturday the time to be announced later.
Lena Kruse was born in the old town of Lyons, September 10, 1871 and was married to John Dierks in 1896. She leaves her husband and six children, Detlef, Arnold, Clarence, Mrs. Herbert Sinhold, John and Helen. A son, Donald, preceded her in death. There are nine grandchildren, also the following sisters and brothers, Mrs. Anna Michels, Colorado Springs, Colo., Mrs. Herman Ladehoff, Mrs. Charles Ladehoff, Henry and Peter Kruse, all of Clinton.
Magdalena "Lena" Carolina Kruse Dierks was b orn 10 Sep 1871, died 17 Jan 1932 and buried Elvira Cemetery, moved to Clinton Lawn Cemetery 9 Sep 1935.
