Suddenly on May 10, 1995 Mrs Doreen Thompson (Mackenzie) of Keremoeos, BC passed away at the age of 62. Doreen loved her family and friends and always had a kind word and sympathetic ear.
She loved travelling, going to Reno, sharing her stories, farming, gardening and berry picking.
She always had a kind gesture for everyone.
Doreen was predeceased by daughter Denise in 1967, and grandson Tyson in 1994.
She leaves to cherish her memory; husband Lyle, sons Brian (Lorell) Mackenzie of Clearwater, BC; Spencer (Kay) Mackenzie of Edmonton, Alberta and Trevor (Maria) of Vancouver, BC, and daughter, Janet (Robin) Mann of Clearwater, BC. Also left to remember her are her grandchildren, Amanda, Andrew, Brooke, Cole, Danika, Fred, Dean (Alexis), Jeannie and Samantha, as well as great-granddaughter Brittany, and stepsons Doug (Holly), Ken (Nellie), and stepdaughter Donna, and five step-grandchildren.
Also left behind are sisters Liz and Esther, and brothers Emil and Herb, and six nieces and nephews.
Doreen will be sadly missed by her many friends and relatives.
Services are to be held Tuesday, May 16 at 2:00 pm at the Evangelical Free Church in Clearwater, with interment to follow.
