Rose Ellen Wood, 79, of Caldwell, Kan. formerly of Center Point, died Wednesday, Feb. 11, 1998, in District No. 1 Hospital, Caldwell, following a long illness. Graveside services: 11 a.m. Saturday, Center Point Cemetery, by the Rev. John Caughron. Local arrangements by Murdoch Funeral Home, Center Point.
Survivors include three sons, Michael and Barry, both of Wichita, Kan., and Colin of Caldwell, Kans.
Also surviving are five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Born July 6, 1918 in Tipton, Iowa, she married Dr. Lee Curtise Wood on June 7, 1938. He died Oct. 2, 1991.
