Arthur M. Kochmann, 66, Dilworth, died Wednesday, March 3, at a Fargo hospital. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 6, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Moorhead, with burial in St. Otto's Catholic Cemetery, Fergus Falls.
The son of Julius and Elizabeth Kochmann, he was born June 28, 1916, at Elrosa. He grew up in that area, moving to Foxhome in 1938. On Feb. 2, 1942, he married Henrietta Hansen there. The couple resided at Foxhome, moving to Fergus Falls in 1955 and to Dilworth in 1957. He operated a liquor store in Dilworth until 1967 and was next employed by St. Luke's School of Nursing, Fargo, retiring in 1978.
Surviving are his wife; three sons, Charles, Battle Lake, James, Denver, Colo., and Dean, Fargo; two daughters, Mrs. Richard (Mary Jane) Hay, Richville, and Mrs. Robert (Kay Nell) Spanswick, Underwood; seven grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Werner (Marie) Flicker, Little Falls, Mrs. Ralph (Veronica) Clark, Magalia, Calif.; a stepsister, Mrs. Marie Stalberger, Belgrade; three stepbrothers, Joseph Bayer, Edmund Bayer and Leander Bayer, all of Elrosa.
Prayer service will be 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 5, at the Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead
