She was born April 21, 1915 in Rexburg, Idaho, to Henry and Anna Elizabeth Bernhardt Kerbs.
She married Henry J. Bishoff on December 3, 1934. They lived and farmed in the Sugar City area until 1976, when the Teton Dam failed and the flood destroyed their home. They then moved to Rexburg. Henry died on March 17, 2001.
In 2003, Mary moved to Idaho Falls where she continued to live in her home until her death.
She enjoyed fishing, crocheting, painting, traveling with her husband after retirement, playing cards and games with friends and family. Mary maintained a positive attitude throughout life and looked forward to visits with friends and family. She loved her family dearly and they will miss her.
She is survived by her children; Shirley Ann (Newell) Riddle of St. George, Utah, Phyllis Marsolek of Cottonwood, Arizona, Sandra (Willis) Hasley of Ontario, Oregon, Dennis (Donna) Bishoff of Gig Harbor, Washington; 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Henry, seven brothers, three sisters and son-in-law, Delmer Marsolek.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 23 at Flamm Funeral Home, 61 N. 1st E., in Rexburg, with Pastor Rick Brown officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday for one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Sugar City Cemetery.
