SOUTH BEND-Robert E. Spencer, 72, died on Thursday at Regency Place. He retired from AM General. He is survived by daughter, Laura Cappel of Leavenworth, KS; son, David (Joann) Spencer of Dallas, TX; grandchild, Shelby; sister, Delma (Austin) Fowler of Midway, Ark; brothers, Dewey (Joan) Spencer of Buchanan and Lee (Shirley) Spencer of Niles. Burial will take place in Ft. Custer National Cemetery, Augusta, MI. Palmer Funeral Home and Southlawn Cremation Services are assisting the family.
