A funeral service is scheduled today for longtime Camas-Washougal resident Elizabeth Dedmore, who died Nov. 28, 1986, at Hillhaven Convalescent Center in Vancouver. She was 83.
Mrs. Dedmore was born Sept. 27, 1903, in Walter Colony, Russia, and emigrated to the United States with her family when she was about 3 years old.
Her family settled in Nebraska. She lived in the Camas-Washougal area since 1930.
Mrs. Dedmore's husband, Rutherford, died in 1964.
She is survived by two sisters, Lydia Bahr of Camas, and Marie Blomenkamp of Woodburn, Ore.; two brothers, John Gies of Grand Island, Neb., and Fred Gies of Keystone, Neb.; several nieces and nephews, including Janyce L. Harris of Washougal, Al Harris of Seattle, Kenneth and Kara Harris both of Vancouver, Kimberly Harris of Washougal, and Roger and Glenna Bahr of Washougal.
The funeral service was held at Straub's Funeral Home in Camas. A private burial followed in the Camas Cemetery.
