Funeral services will be conducted Friday, January 7th at 2 p.m. in the Ratliff Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Harold Brown officiating. Interment will follow in the Denver City Memorial Park with services under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home of Denver City.
Dora was born July 28, 1914 in Ada, Okla. to John and Mertie Dobson. She married Reford Jefferson Williams in Ada Okla. on April 9, 1934. They lived in Frederick, Okla. until 1952 when they moved to Denver City. Dora was a housewife.
She was preceded in death by her husband, R.J., on February 14, 2006; two sons, Paul Donald Williams and Gary Wayne Williams; two daughters, Bobbie Lou Robertson and Shirley Williams; a grandson, Greg; a brother, Garnie Guy Dobson; and two sisters, Elva Lou Beene and Ollie Sybil Knight; son-in-law, George Robertson and a daughter-in-law, Modeena Williams.
She is survived by four sons, Jimmie Mack Williams of Boonville, Ind., Timmy Jack Williams of Denver City, Jackie Don Williams of Kent, Wash. and Arliss Gene Williams of Denver City; two daughters, Billie Dean Ellis and Mary Lee Ellis both of Gurdon, Ark.; two daughters-in-law, Brenda Latham and Beverly Williams; 34 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
